Reservation or optional booking (option)

As Ventus Sailing Cruises has the use of 3 similar wooden yachts, we can nearly always guarantee you a place. When you book online we will contact you by phone or e-mail to discuss all details. You can also use our reservation form. Next we will send you the confirmation, invoice and our general terms & conditions by e-mail.

Bookings will be confirmed after a deposit of 30% has been made within ten days after you have received the invoice. Your final payment is due 4 weeks prior to commencement of your cruise. When you book within 3 weeks of commencement we require full payment to be made at the time of booking.

Ventus Sailing has been working exclusively with Small World Yachting for many years. They guarantee quality/maintenance yachts, crew, various training sessions, paperwork, all transfers, excursions etc. Neslihan Ergun is our (English-speaking) hostess and manager for many years, both in Bodrum and Kos.

Sailing in Greece & Turkey

All-inclusive gentle sailing cruises on the Aegean coast, a unique region of spectacular landscapes. Our yachts (gulets) are comfortable traditionally built Turkish yachts. They sail steadily in the gentle off-shore breezes and remain stable even when the wind rises. The large marine diesel engine is only used when the wind dies or to make to windward. Guests can help with the sailing if they wish – or laze in the sun and leave it entirely to the crew.

visa required?

Citizens of the UK will be able to travel to Turkey without a visa starting 2 March 2020. The new visa-free regime will allow entry for up to 90 days per 180-day period.  Please make sure your passport (also kids!) is valid for at least another 60 days upon leaving the country. Other passport holders should contact their embassy prior to departure. 

During your sailing cruise along the Greek Islands you (may) have to start and finish in Bodrum, Turkey, due to new international rules (since 2018). In between you can visit 3-6 Greek islands during a week.
